STGFB is a food bank based upon the generous donations of the people of Garstang and surrounding areas, together with the fantastic support we receive from local schools, businesses, and other groups. If you are already a supporter, thank you for all you do.
The best way to donate is to sign up to our 'Best To Buy' weekly email. Each week we issue a list of items that we need as a priority for our stock, those we need to top up on, and a 'Not This Week Please' list of items of which we have an excess.

Donations
Donations of items can be made at either Booths or Sainsbury's in Garstang who both provide collection points for us. Please be aware that we cannot accept fizzy drinks, protein shakes, alcohol or perishable items.

The food bank supplements donations by purchasing fresh items such as ham, cheese, eggs, and we also provide a fresh veg bag each week of potatoes, carrots and onions. We purchase these items through the generosity of our supporters who have set up a direct debit as their preferred method of contribution.

From time to time, we find ourselves with a surplus of stock, so when this does happen we donate the items to a local food bank. Currently we support food banks in Wyre, Lancaster and Preston.
